First of all, I would like to thank Gino Caruso  for the rigorous training program and diet he put me on to enable me to lose 20 pounds of fat and add some muscle for our wrestling match at the PAL Building in Lincoln Park as well as thank many of the great ECPW Fans for all their support.  For those of you who could not make it, here is a link below to you tube for your enjoyment. I know Gino and I enjoyed it at the expense of Bobby Lee Walker & Justin Blackwell. Although there were some tense moments when I found myself in the ring with the huge and very scary Justin Blackwell, Gino came to my rescue in the nick of time.  I was asked after the match if Gino and I were considering going after the tag team titles. The answer is a NO.  I am going to leave the wrestling up to the professionals and go back to my administrative duties and part time color commentary.  Speaking of color commentary, the search is still on for my full time replacement to work along side of the talented Tony Martin. We have had several good candidates and continue to interview and search for the right candidate to compliment Tony.

I truly hope that ECPW fans understand the importance of the wrestling event that will take place at the PAL Building in Lincoln Park, NJ April 23rd  Jeff “The Future” Coleman will face the biggest challenge of his career when he defends the ECPW Heavyweight Championship Belt against none other than Tommy Dreamer.  In speaking with Tommy Dreamer, he stated “Although Jeff Coleman has been a great champion, let’s see if he is ready to take it to the extreme”.  Every wrestling fan knows what Tommy means by that. If Dreamer is successful he said that he would have no problem in stepping into Coleman’s upcoming schedule and defend the ECPW title with honor and dignity.

Another important match up pits the maniacal and twisted, Crowbar against Andrew Anderson. These two just don’t like each other and ECPW has beefed up security in the locker room and around the arena for this match. I am sure that his Crowbar’s side kick, Timothy Plasma, the self proclaimed “Vampire”, will be nearby for this one. It should be a barn burner.

Then the match that has greatest importance to me, personally--- Gino Caruso & Joey G will take on the West Virginia’s bully’s, General Bobby Lee Walker & the 450 pound, Justin Blackwell. I guess my emotions ran away with me when I challenged Bobby Lee Walker to a match after he degraded my Italian heritage at a recent ECPW Show, but I could not have a better partner than the very popular and accomplished, Mr. Italy, Gino Caruso. Gino is in the best physical and emotional state of his career and with the support of our fans, which we will need, we hope to be victorious. We are determined to put an end to Bobby Lee’s  “Italian Bashing” for good. I hope to see you all there.

Red Hot Russ suffered a rib injury while participating in a brutal six man tag match as he, The Jersey Devil & Andrew Anderson wrestled Doug DeVito’s highly unpredictable stable of Crazy Ivan, Big Bad Brolly & The Peacemaker.  The tough Red Hot Russ wants to continue wrestling but the doctors have not cleared him as of yet. Stay tuned for further updates.

Tony Fiore, “The Fuggetaboudit Kid” won a Number One Contenders match as he beat the very tough Slugga, so at the next TV Taping, April 22nd  at the Elks Lodge in Paramus, Tony Fiore gets a shot at the coveted and prestigious ECPW Heavyweight title when he opposes  the current champion,  Jeff “The Future” Coleman.  ECPW is extremely happy with their new TV play by play announcer, Tony Martin, and has offered him a long term contract. The search is now on for a color commentator to compliment the very professional Tony Martin. Those interested should contact ECPW at 973 402 9599 or by going on the website ECPW1.com.

I have been hearing from most of our fans of Italian decent that they are sick and tired of General Bobby Lee Walker & Justin Blackwell’s continued derogatory comments about Italian Americans. This proud Italian American is getting sick and tired of their distasteful, stupid ethnic comments as well and tried to address it with Bobby Lee Walker in the dressing room. He and Blackwell just laughed, called me a dumb greaseball and walked away.

It is hard to believe that this year has come to an end with ECPW promoting a record breaking 88 Wrestling Events during 2010. The board of directors are predicting an even better 2011. Look for new arenas, where ECPW has never been before as the scope may broaden internationally. Look for new wrestlers to enter into the exciting world of ECPW to replace those who have been injured, retired or those who just can’t handle the training and everyday grueling world of professional wrestling.

We go into 2011 with a new heavyweight champ, Jeff “The Future” Coleman.  I guess the future is now.  Who will be able to beat this monster of a man with such a mean attitude?  He is in shape and he can wrestle or brawl with the best of them but in my opinion, he has still not beaten Andrew Anderson legitimately. Anderson’s attorneys have begun fighting the contract stating “no return match’ that The Re-enforcer signed to get his last match with Coleman. Who knows if they will be successful?  We have new tag-team champions in Jersey Devil & Red Hot Russ---Jersey Heat, and boy are they hot. Tag teams are lining up gunning for their titles. Crazy Ivan now has gold around his waist. Fans felt that DeVito & Ivan stole the belt like they stole so many other things in the past.

ECPW comes back in 2011 with a TV taping on January 21st and then the big Awards Dinner January 22nd. Fans get your tickets early as you don’t want to miss this great gala event where you can mingle with the wrestlers and see as the awards are given out live. I understand that some exciting announcements may take place at the Awards Dinner. So make sure that you are there. It is such an exciting event and fun event for all.  Even the wrestlers who attend love it as they get a chance to relax and have some fun.

In a past column I stated after speaking to Red Hot Russ, he would be looking for a tag team partner to avenge the beating he took from the Repeat Offenders as he was entering the ring for one of his TV matches a few months ago.  The  Jersey Devil found himself without a partner after Gunner Trash, who is out indefinitely, took a vicious beating at the hands of the same Repeat Offenders. Revenge is sweet and Russ & Devil  are still tasting that sweet revenge as they beat the Repeat Offenders for the Tag Team belts in Paramus.  Lots of controversy surrounding this one as Doug DeVito agreed for this title match even thought Crazy Ivan was not available.  DeVito substituted the Peacemaker.  This was not one of the Sports Agents better decisions as not only did he lose the belts but may have lost the service of Big Pete Nixon.  Nixon blamed DeVito for the loss and a big commotion ensued in the locker room with Nixon screaming, “I quit” and DeVito yelling back, “you can’t quit-you’re fired”.  What is Crazy Ivan gong to think of this?  I would not want to be in DeVito’s shoes.

Andrew Anderson was attacked again by a mysterious masked giant during his return title match with Jeff Coleman.  It was the same person who attacked Anderson and cost him the World’s Championship Belt in Perth Amboy.  This time he was accompanied by the  big slob, Lance Profit. Since that title match was a “Last Time Match”, Anderson is not eligible to wrestle Coleman again. It is obvious Anderson was screwed.  The big question is by who????????? Was it Coleman? Was it Lance Profit? Or was it the new ownership? There is never a dull moment on any ECPW Card.  That is why you can’t miss any shows during the year.

The Fan Page has now been added to the ECPW Website. So fans check out that new area and look for you pictures. There is a good one of Netta and some of her group as well as an R Rated picture of Little Jack Little.  Additional fan pictures will be added during future shows.

The only word to describe the events of August 28ths TV Taping at the Elks Lodge is UNBELIEVABLEJeff Coleman went absolutely crazy when he attacked Andrew Anderson as he took the ropes apart and tried to strangle The Re-enforcer  in the middle of the ring. The only thing he accomplished was to infuriate Anderson even more for their Steel Cage Match to be held in Perth Amboy at St. Mary’s Church  on September 11th. It was almost impossible to restrain Anderson when he fully recovered and he attempted to chase Coleman as Jeff raced down Route 17.

When the legendary Sargent Slaughter heard that this great event was being held on September 11th and that all military personnel in uniform or with their ID will be ECPW’s guests, he asked to be on the card and insisted on wrestling Prince Akkanatan in a Flag Match. Slaughter heard about Prince’s derogatory comments about America and our policies and “The Sarge” wants a piece of “The Prince”.  Additional security has been added for this match.

In a special “Family Match”, Tito Santana returns to ECPW after a lengthy absence to team up with nephew Jay & Meringue Warrior to take on all 1,500 pounds of the Blackwell Family, consisting of Butcher, Justin and Baby Blackwell who alone hits the scales at over 600 pounds. We have been assured that the ring will be specially reinforced for this match.

All ECPW belts will be on the line as the tag team champion, Repeat Offenders take on their toughest challengers, The Island Warriors.  I said it on TV and I’ll say it again for this column, “If you only go to one more wrestling event in 2010, this is the one to be at”. Review the full card and you will see why.  I’ll be there.  I hope to see you there too.

As Labor Day approaches meaning the end of the summer, ECPW fans can’t wait for the spectacular event that is now scheduled for September 11th. in Perth Amboy. The main event is for all the marbles, as Andrew Anderson will put his ECPW Heavyweight Championship on the line against none other than, Jeff “The Future” Coleman. This one will be settled in a Steel Cage.  Continue to stay informed by logging on to ECPW1.com as matches are being signed as wrestlers from all over want to be part of this great event.

After last month’s TV Taping at the Elks Lodge in Paramus, I had many fans come up to me after the event to tell me how much they enjoyed the card. It is obvious how ECPW’s popularity continues to grow. The match makers are bringing back Jay Owens & Dan Mandini return match.  Owens demanded the match since all the fans except the referee saw Dan Mandini’s  feet on the ropes as he pinned Jay Owens.

Also at the next TV Taping on August 27th will be an update on the sale of ECPW as new ownership is promising an even better product with more exciting wrestling stars coming into the organization in the very near future.  Does this mean a better TV package or even Pay Per View?  Be at that TV Taping to find out more.

A mysterious man has been showing up at recent ECPW events claiming to be the father of Creeper. We all heard the tale that Creeper was constructed from parts from various dead bodies but this man states that Creeper was indeed, born and he is his biological father.  His picture bears a strong resemblance to Creeper.

Doug DeVito’s “Repeat Offenders” held on to their titles in a brutal match with Gunner Trash & Jersey Devil, known to all as “Jersey Trash” in a brutal match. The state of New Jersey which gave us The Jersey Boys, The Soprano’s, The Housewives of New Jersey & Jersey Shore has now given us one of the hottest tag teams in ECPW—Jersey Trash.

Jeff “The Future” Coleman continues his assault on all ECPW wrestlers.  In a recent TV match with Jay Santana, Jeff continued to savagely beat on Santana.  Referee Tony Meyers, tried to intervene as Jeff pushed Meyers twice costing him the match but earning Jeff a hefty fine. He faces possible suspension as his actions will be reviewed by senior ECPW officials

Each and every week, ECPW, brings you fans the most exciting wrestling action on television today. This week was no exception. In a no-disqualification match, Nick Talent & Nick Napoleon were having an exciting back and forth match until the self proclaimed “Vampire”, Timothy Plazma interfered and cost Napoleon the match.  Napoleon was furious after the match and has vowed revenge on Plazma.

A tremendous match up was taking place between The Island Warriors &  The Repeat Offenders until Doug DeVito interjected himself into the match and cost the Island Warriors a victory.  Sean Martin & Slugger, have been a very impressive team enjoying much success which earned them a title match. They have vowed that they want to go home to their native Jamaica as tag team champions.

Trey  Owens was successful over Ben Cromwell. It is still hard to believe that that the Owens Brothers are not together and feuding. This has upset Mama Owens. She has repeatedly tried to get them to end their vicious feud but has not been successful.

ECPW fans are counting the days to this Friday’s TV Taping at the Elks Lodge in Paramus as ECPW will present one of the most exciting nights of professional wrestling with “Luck Of The Draw”.  Fans will participate in picking out the type of match to be contested on this special night. Will it be a “Steel Cage Match”,” Falls Count Anywhere”, “Lumber Jack Match”, “Sicilian Stretcher Match” and which wrestlers will be called upon to enter into one of these matches.? All wrestlers must be prepared for the most dangerous night of their career. This is what makes ECPW so popular with the fans.

Jeff “The Future” Coleman continues to play mind games with the “Re-enforcer”, Andrew Anderson.  Apparently Jeff showed up at a restaurant, where Anderson was dinning and almost caused a riot. Coleman was ushered out but Anderson could not finish his meal as he was so upset. Anderson left shortly and was heard screaming, “the S. O. B. ruined my dinner”. This will eventually come to a brutal conclusion, one way or another”.

The TV audience witnessed another exciting victory for Tony “The Goodfella” Fiore over the powerful Tony Moose as the grappler from Hoboken is becoming more popular with each match.

You can call this ECPW wrestling superstar, Red Hot Russ “Mr. ECPW”, as he has done it all. He held the tag team championship belt on more than one occasion.  He was the TV Champ, Light heavyweight champ as well as holding the ECPW Heavyweight title. Russ, one of the more popular wrestlers in ECPW, was entering the ring on the last TV taping and was viciously attacked by The Repeat Offenders--- Crazy Ivan & “Big” Pete Nixon. I asked the diabolical, Doug DeVito why and he just calmly said, “Because we can”. You can rest assure that Red Hot Russ wants revenge and he is currently searching for a partner.  ECPW has been approached by a few cable networks to enter into the “Monday Night War” Stay tuned as this one is evolving.

In an attempt to get to the bottom of the speculated dissension between one of the most successful tag teams to ever appear in ECPW, the Owens Brothers, I was told to mind my own business by older brother Jay Owens. It was clearly evident that there are some issues as Jay was super kicked by his brother after a recent match on television and it has been very noticeable their precision tag team timing has been off for the last few months. My prediction these two will put there differences aside and be a well oiled wrestling machine again at the next TV Taping.

In a recent match between Ryan Roxbury & W.A.S.P., who controlled the match with a deciding pin in the middle of the ring, the W.A.S.P. picked up Roxbury and carried him back to the dressing room.  Before he got back to the dressing room, he bowed to the fans with a surrealistic smile on his face. What is up with him and why did he pick up his opponent?

Rumor has it that there are two wrestling organizations now competing for the services of ECPW’s marketing genius, Alan Gimmick-Table. Under the VP of Marketing, ECPW ran more shows last year than ever and product sales have skyrocketed.

2/9/10

-----------------------------------------------

First of all, I want to wish all our ECPW fans a very Happy and Healthy New Year. I was lucky enough to be invited to the Sports Agent, Doug DeVito’s,  pallatial estate for a post New Years bash. Great food including Chateau Briand, unlimited Lobster and the best imported wines were served. No one can come close to hosting a bash like  DeVito can.  Could it be that be that Doug was lobbying for votes as he would like to take his fifth Manager Of The Year Award.  Since I had two lobsters, he has my vote.

The last TV Taping had Jeff Coleman’s attorneys preventing him from wrestling Andrew Anderson but the red tape has been cut and Andrew Anderson has agreed to meet Coleman on January 22nd at the Elks Lodge in Paramus in a winner take all match.  The winner gets not only the belt but both of the wrestler’s purses. Wrestling experts feel that Jeff Coleman has been using these tactics to successfully get into Andrew Anderson’s head. The Re-Enforcer simply goes into a wild rage at the mention of The Future’s name as evidenced when he destroyed part of the set at the last TV Taping.

See you all at the Awards Dinner January 23rd at the Saddle Brook VFW.  If you don’t have your tickets, get them quickly, before this highly anticipated event is sold out like last year. Who will be the Fan Of The Year?  Lots of competition for that one as there is for all of the awards. Only one thing is certain and no need for voting----Joey G is the best color commentator in all of professional wrestling today. Take that to the bank. One of our fans asked to have another category next year, “Most Out Of Shape Wrestler”.  She said her vote would go to WASP.   I am sure WASP would get many votes.

------------------------------------------------------------------

The ECPW has recently seen a resurgence of the dreaded,  Army Of Darkness. They first burst on the scene at a TV Taping and cost Ace Wylde the light heavyweight championship title at the hands of the undead, Timothy Plazma. After Timothy Plazma’s first title defense, the massive and diabolical Kuvatro, from New Guniea attacked the already beaten Ryan Roxbury. This was all engineered by the mysterious mastermind----Damnasia, who promises to bring in additional members for her deadly and already growing Army Of Darkness.

Jeff Coleman and Andrew Anderson were on opposite sides in a tag team match but the fans did not see too much action between these two as Tugboat and The Masked Superstar carried most of the action until a second Masked Superstar appeared. Coleman and Anderson will eventually be in a one on one match up as the fans are demanding to see this one. It will be very interesting as these two actually hate each other. The Masked Superstars will be teaming up in tag-team action and we are hearing of more tag teams coming into the ECPW very soon.

Speaking of tag-teams, Frankie Flow and The Merangue Warrior looked like a formidable tag-team and have declared that they will even get better.  They are working very hard to improve their newly formed partnership.

After a lengthy absence due to several injuries to his knee, Hoboken’s own, Tony Fiore scored an impressive win over Dan Mandini. Tony told me that it was because of Gino Caruso,  that Tony got into the wrestling business and his dream is to eventually team with Caruso one day. He also told me that wrestlers like Little Tony Moose give Italians a bad name.
